COVID-19

To enter Costa Rica, the following requirements must be completed:

1: An online health passport before the flight.

2: Insurance policy for medical expenses related to Covid-19

All adults who are not fully vaccinated must take out mandatory travel insurance that covers accommodation expenses in case of quarantine and medical expenses in case of Covid-19 disease.

Proof of travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of $ 50,000 for medical expenses in case of Covid-19 disease and a coverage of $ 2,000 for quarantine costs must be attached to the health passport.

If the client's insurance does not meet the required coverage for medical expenses, the client can contract an international insurance such as TRAWICK International or a Costa Rican insurance: https://cotiza.ins-cr.com/frmDatosIncluir.aspx?P=431 or https: //tiendasagicor.com/en /, and upload the receipt in the health form.

At the end of the health form, a QR code is generated that the customer can save on their mobile phone or print. This QR code must be presented when entering.
• The health form must be presented at check-in. Otherwise, some airlines refuse to board.
• Anyone who has symptoms of Covid-19 before departure should not travel.

3. A negative PCR test is not required.
